Santucci’s Original Square Pizza has developed this new brand to be used in regional and national locations such as casinos, stadiums, supermarkets, and airports, as well as traditional marketing materials. The new brand will incorporate the original Santucci’s brand and signed namesake, Frank Santucci, while still having a fresh, unique feel. The new logo will incorporate a new tagline and the overall message that Philly’s Original Square Pizza comes with the same quality and tradition as Santucci’s.

Who

Philly’s Original Square Pizza is a brand created by Santucci’s Original Square Pizza, a family-owned restaurant group with a rich tradition beginning in 1959 in Northeast Philadelphia. The restaurant has become a local favorite and is recognized as having some of the best pizza in the area. Santucci’s was recently voted into the Pizza Today Hall of Fame and has been called everything from a “hidden gem of Ocean City” by OCNJ Daily to “some of Philly’s best pizza” by Philly Mag. 

What

Sparkable has collaborated with Santucci’s to discuss and outline a full range of work to be done and a tentative timeline, including:

• Brand Inventory: The project began by conducting a brand inventory, including all colors, fonts, images, and materials that have been and are expected to be associated with the brand. This also includes identifying at least three similar brands to guide the designer.
• Design Draft: We then designed and developed three unique and distinct mockup logos based on the client’s guidelines and vision
• Feedback and Revisions: Sparkable will hold a feedback meeting with the client, allowing them to share any elements or nuances they want to incorporate into the final logo. The logo will then undergo two rounds of revisions before being finalized. The first revision will be a culmination of design elements based on feedback. The second will include final tweaks and adjustments based on feedback from the first revision. 
• Asset Delivery: The logo will be delivered for final approval when the client can specify the deliverable specs required, including file sizes, file types, color alterations, etc. Once all delivery is complete, Sparkable and the client will come to a project close and provide feedback on the process and any next steps.

When

This particular project has a very quick turnaround and will be completed from start to finish throughout the month of February. Phase one will begin on the first of the month, and the target delivery date is February 28th. Sparkable plans to deliver the website by February 22nd to allow time for feedback and revisions, if necessary.
